Privacy Policy – Ellivie AI Studio

Ellivie AI Studio is an internal tool used to create, plan, analyze, and publish marketing content for EllivieHome. This privacy policy describes what information may be processed when Ellivie AI Studio is connected to services such as Shopify, Facebook, and Instagram, and how that information is used and protected.

1. What information is processed

When Ellivie AI Studio is used, the following information may be processed:

  • information about connected Facebook pages and Instagram accounts
  • account and page identifiers required to connect to Meta
  • access tokens and technical authentication information required to keep connections active
  • information about published or planned content
  • images, captions, hashtags, and other marketing text created or managed within the app
  • statistics on published posts, such as reach, impressions, likes, comments, saves, shares, and interactions, when such information is made available by the connected platform
  • Shopify product information such as product names, images, prices, variants, and collections
  • sales and order-related statistics used for analyzing marketing performance
  • technical information needed for the app's features to function correctly.

Ellivie AI Studio is not intended to collect or store private Facebook or Instagram messages from customers unless such a feature is explicitly activated in the future.

2. How the information is used

The information is used to:

  • connect EllivieHome to Facebook and Instagram
  • identify which Facebook pages and Instagram accounts may be used
  • create and publish content on connected social media accounts
  • schedule future publications
  • create AI-generated texts and marketing suggestions
  • analyze results from previous publications
  • recommend suitable publication times
  • improve future content and marketing recommendations
  • analyze sales, campaigns, and marketing results
  • administer products and marketing materials related to EllivieHome.

The information is used only for functions pertaining to Ellivie AI Studio and EllivieHome's operations.

3. Facebook and Instagram

Ellivie AI Studio can be connected to products and services from Meta Platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.

When a Meta connection is made, the app may be granted permission to, for example:

  • read which Facebook pages the user administers
  • read basic information about connected pages and Instagram accounts
  • read statistics and engagement data
  • create and publish content on a Facebook page
  • create and publish content on a connected Instagram account.

Which permissions are used depends on which features are activated.

Ellivie AI Studio does not publish content on accounts other than those explicitly connected to the app.

4. Shopify

Ellivie AI Studio is integrated with Shopify to use information from EllivieHome's web store.

This may include, among other things:

  • products
  • product images
  • variants
  • prices
  • collections
  • order and sales statistics.

The information is used, among other things, to create marketing materials, analyze product performance, and plan campaigns.

Personal data about customers shall not be used for AI-based marketing profiling in Ellivie AI Studio. When order data is used for analysis, the primary purpose is to analyze products, sales, and marketing results.

5. AI Services

Ellivie AI Studio may use AI services, including services from OpenAI, to, for example:

  • create marketing texts
  • analyze products
  • generate content suggestions
  • create captions and campaign ideas
  • analyze marketing results.

Only the information necessary for the current function shall be sent to an external AI service.

6. Storage and security

Ellivie AI Studio may store technical information needed to maintain connections and functions, such as access tokens, settings, publication information, and analysis data.

Sensitive authentication information shall be stored securely and shall not be publicly displayed.

The information is only stored for as long as it is needed for the app's function or as long as there is a legitimate need to retain the information.

7. Sharing of information

Information is not sold to third parties.

Information may be processed by service providers required for the app's function, such as:

  • Shopify
  • Meta Platforms
  • OpenAI
  • hosting and infrastructure services.

Information is only shared to the extent required to perform the respective function.

8. Data removal

A connection to Facebook or Instagram can be removed from Ellivie AI Studio.

If a user wishes to request that information linked to a Meta connection be deleted, a request can be sent to:

Upon such a request, relevant stored connection data and other data that no longer needs to be retained will be removed within a reasonable time.

The user can also remove Ellivie AI Studio's access via the settings for connected apps on Facebook or Instagram.

9. Third-party services

Ellivie AI Studio uses external platforms and their APIs. These platforms have their own terms and privacy policies.

Use of Facebook and Instagram is also covered by Meta's own terms and policies. Use of Shopify and OpenAI is similarly covered by the respective provider's terms and policies.

10. Changes to the privacy policy

This privacy policy may be updated if Ellivie AI Studio gains new features, new integrations, or changed ways of processing information.
